TK-1 AUTOGRAPHS

Galaxy Tours arranged for Taher Khawa (TK-1), the first identified member of #TheOriginalSix stormtroopers, to return to the Gour Beni Mzab dune range in southwestern Tunisia. The location was used to film dune sea stormtrooper activity on fictional Tatooine for the original Star Wars on 25 March 1976. This was Taher’s first visit to the film site area in over 45 years.

Photographs and video were taken to document Taher’s experience reliving his legendary role at the site. Taher autographed several #TheOriginalSix prints directly on the dunes. Additional prints were autographed at the nearby Lars Homestead exterior set on the Chott el-Djerid salt flats, marking the first documented visit to this iconic location by any Star Wars franchise stormtrooper extra.
