Who are we?
Galaxy Tours is the leader in Tunisia-specific Star Wars franchise research and the only company fundamentally dedicated to Star Wars tourism in Tunisia. Founded by three brothers, Galaxy Tours is a cohort of team members, facilitators, and collaborators located in the USA, Tunisia, and Europe. United as lifelong Star Wars fans, our strength is rooted in our diversity of nationalities, life experiences, teaming networks, customized skills, and professional backgrounds.
Star Wars tourism remains one of Tunisia’s untapped national treasures. Located in the Maghreb region of North Africa bordering the Mediterranean Sea, Tunisia is inextricably linked to the genesis of the Star Wars universe and distinguished as the country with the second most number of unique Star Wars film sites (12 total). Spread across more than some 500 kilometers of diverse geography and climate in southern Tunisia, the sites were collectively used to film a myriad of iconic Tatooine scenes in four of the Skywalker saga live-action movies: A New Hope, The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. Separate third-party footage from Tunisia was utilized in the live-action series The Mandalorian (Chapter 5: “The Gunslinger”).
