Galaxy Tours creator Davin Anderson conducted comprehensive on-location practical training in Tunisia with a small group of hand-selected Tunisian guides in mid-October 2023. Over the course of five lengthy days, the local guides acquired new skills with exhaustive behind-the-scenes insights and exact frame-by-frame set/scene positions at all Star Wars films sites (12 total) and key Indiana Jones locations (3 total) in Tunisia. The guides also gained know-how to relate the Lucasfilm connection to verified Star Wars scouted sites (10 total) in the country. Lastly, the training included deep-dive conversations into Star Wars character development, Star Wars theory, Indiana Jones historical context, and foundational ways Tunisia influenced both franchises.

With this training complete, the Galaxy Tours guide team now consists of four Tunisian professionals based in Djerba, Tozeur, Kairouan, and Tunis. Each guide is fluent in English, charismatic, armed with Galaxy Tours “secret sauce” expertise, and committed to the Galaxy Tours standard of excellence. Additional language options include German, French, and Italian.
