Eclipse viewing site: Amghar Mosque (Star Wars location: Obi-Wan Kenobi’s house), lasting 4 minutes and 3 seconds. Eclipse viewing glasses not included.

 

Movie event: Enjoy a traditional troglodyte dinner while viewing the original film in the subterranean courtyard of the Lars Homestead interior film site at Hotel Sidi Idriss in Matmata.

Group size: This group tour can accommodate up to 30 travelers. Booking parties will travel together in top-quality microbus vehicles or a full-sized touring bus. Solo travelers will be paired in shared rooms (separate beds). If a single room is desired (subject to space availability), a single supplement charge will be added to the overall package price.

 

Start/end: Tour starts in Djerba, ends in Djerba. Pre-tour/post-tour international or domestic travel not included.

 

Meeting point: Dar Naël (Erriadh, Djerba) at 19:00 on 1 August 2027. Welcome dinner and overnight stay at Dar Naël on 1 August 2027 included in tour package.

 

Arrival/departure: Arrival to Djerba must be before 2 August 2027. Departure from Djerba must be after 4 August 2027.

 

Ground transfer add-on (Tunis to Djerba): If Tunis is your entry point into Tunisia, we offer a private ground transfer option from Tunis to Djerba on 1 August 2027 with pick-up directly at the Tunis airport or your hotel in Tunis. The 7-hour drive includes a 1-hour stop at El Djem for a self-guided tour of the famous El Djem Roman amphitheater. Contact us in advance for pricing and details. If multiple guests request this transfer service, we can arrange a larger vehicle at a shared rate to reduce individual cost.

 

Ground transfer add-on (Djerba to Tunis): If Tunis is your departure point from Tunisia, we offer a private ground transfer option from Djerba to Tunis on 5 August 2027 with pick-up at Dar Naël. The 7-hour drive includes a 3-hour stop at Kairouan for our Indy’s Cairo walking tour and Sallah’s terrace experience. Contact us in advance for pricing and details.
