As part of the unveiling, Galaxy Tours hosted a historic live concert with pianist Micah Anderson at the remote Star Wars set to celebrate the exact 50th anniversary filming date of the franchise-defining binary sunset scene, produced on 29 March 1976 on the exact same spot. Over 30 guests enjoyed the concert in conjunction with a special 6-Day Galaxy Tours group expedition through southern Tunisia commemorating the origins of Star Wars.
World Origin Site.Org’s Martin Wilkie met up with Davin in Harrogate, England, on 23 March 2026 to hand off the commemorative plaque prior to the event in Tunisia.
