GT GUIDE TEAM 2025

20 February 2025

To sustain continual demand for our year-round multi-day expeditions and single-day experiences, we have expanded our Galaxy Tours guide team with two additional female Tunisian professionals: one based in Djerba, the other based in Tozeur. Our company creator Davin Anderson made ad hoc arrangements to join a 50th birthday celebration private tour in Tunisia to conduct on-location hands-on Galaxy Tours specialization training from 17-20 February 2025.

The freshly trained pair of accredited guides acquired new skills with exhaustive behind-the-scenes insights and exact frame-by-frame set/scene positions at all Star Wars films sites and key Indiana Jones locations in Tunisia. The pair also gained know-how to relate the Lucasfilm connection to verified Star Wars scouted sites in the country. Lastly, the training included deep-dive conversations into Star Wars character development, Star Wars theory, Indiana Jones historical context, and foundational ways Tunisia influenced both franchises.

This training event raised the total number of Galaxy Tours guides to eight, with base locations in Djerba, Tozeur, Kairouan, and Tunis. Each guide is fluent in English, charismatic, armed with Galaxy Tours “secret sauce” expertise, and committed to the Galaxy Tours standard of excellence. Additional language options include German, French, and Italian.

We will continue to recruit the best Tunisian accredited guides to join our team. The next stage is to boost our guide cadre in northern Tunisia, specifically Sousse and Hammamet, to further advance our tourism operations.
