To meet increased demand for our year-round private tours, we have added two Djerba-based guides to our Galaxy Tours guide team. Our company creator Davin Anderson conducted full-scope on-location practical training in Tunisia with the hand-selected pair of accredited guides during his annual special group tour from 16-21 April 2024.

While interacting with 10 guests on tour, the pair acquired new skills with exhaustive behind-the-scenes insights and exact frame-by-frame set/scene positions at all Star Wars films sites and key Indiana Jones locations in Tunisia. The pair also gained know-how to relate the Lucasfilm connection to verified Star Wars scouted sites in the country. Lastly, the training included deep-dive conversations into Star Wars character development, Star Wars theory, Indiana Jones historical context, and foundational ways Tunisia influenced both franchises.

The Galaxy Tours guide team now consists of six Tunisian professionals based in Djerba, Tozeur, Kairouan, and Tunis. Each guide is fluent in English, charismatic, armed with Galaxy Tours “secret sauce” expertise, and committed to the Galaxy Tours standard of excellence. Additional language options include German, French, and Italian.
